ALKAMAX® MLLDPE GRADES
Qenos Alkamax® mLLDPE's are metallocene catalysed polyethylenes purpose designed for ultra high performance film applications where strength, toughness and aesthetic properties are paramount. Alkamax® mLLDPE's incorporate a hexene (C6) comonomer using advanced UNIPOL™ gas phase technology to produce mLLDPE resins that are optimised for use in heavy duty bag, industrial and agricultural film applications where puncture resistance, impact performance and tear strength are key product performance attributes. Hot tack performance, excellent sealing and organoleptic characteristics combined with brilliant optical properties lend Alkamax® mLLDPE's to laminated and form, fill and seal products. Alkamax® mLLDPE's are also ideally suited to downgauging of existing film structures to achieve unit cost and packaging waste reduction.
Alkamax® mLLDPE is fully compatible with Alkatuff® LLDPE and Alkathene® LDPE's. Blends of Alkamax® and Alkathene® are commonly used to achieve optimal production throughput. All Alkamax® mLLDPE grades are suitable for food packaging products and meet Australian standards and US Food and Drug Administration and European Union food contact regulations.
