QENOS ALTONA SAFETY CASE COMMUNITY INFORMATION
The Qenos Altona sites are registered as a Major Hazard Facility (MHF) under the Victorian Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Regulations 2007.
Qenos is required to submit a Safety Case to the regulator Victorian WorkCover Authority - Work Safe as an integral step in the regulatory process in obtaining a licence to operate as an MHF. Following a detailed assessment and verification activity, Qenos has obtained approval for a five year Worksafe MHF Licence through to 2022.
WorkSafe will continue oversight during the life of the licence. This is the fourth MHF licence cycle that Qenos Altona has complied with.
