To be held on Wednesday 16th Aug, Qenos is thrilled to be hosting the Society of Plastic Engineers (SPE).

Attendees are invited to a tour of Qenos’ Melbourne plant followed by and an evening seminar program on the latest developments in polyethylene.

The event is a great opportunity for attendees to meet and network, attend seminars presented by senior technical specialists and enjoy drinks and canapes courtesy of Qenos.

Seminar sessions include:

· The challenges of flexible packaging application in industrial and food packaging

· Matching head tooling to the characteristics of resin to enable best performance from new generation dairy blow moulding resins (presented by Camtech Engineering)

· A Qenos case study on the unexpected effects of commonly used pigments on the physical properties of rotationally moulded products.

· Polyethylene sustainability. In 2015 we used 84Mt of plastics in consumer products and packaging. Would the elimination of plastics lead to a better environmental outcome?
